2011 Conference Kudos

I just had the pleasure of doing a presentation at the Southwest Computer Conference in San Diego. Alice and I really enjoyed the hospitality afforded us by everyone associated with this first class organization.

Thank you, Judy Taylour and the rest of the officers for an amazing job.

Hi Yomar, It was a pleasure to meet you at the 2011 SWCC! I had such a great time reconnecting with attendees from past years and meeting new attendees. As a vendor I am always impressed with the amount of time and the dedication to success put into the conference. What a great weekend!

Thank you for stopping by the Rovia table at the expo. We are so very excited about saving on travel and love to share it with everyone.

Every year the SWCC gets better and better. Hope you had a wonderful time and I look forward to seeing you next year!

Judy, congratulations on another successful conference! It was great, and we had a lot of fun talking to folks who came by our booth. We gave away 165 Linux DVDS - hopefully some of them will be put to good use!

We attempted 4 Linux installs. Three were successful and we sent them away with laptops that are now dual boot Windows & openSUSE Linux 11.4.

The lady (Beth) with the non-booting Dell laptop came by, and I put my best man on the problem ;-) He booted the laptop on a live Linux DVD, and was able to (slowly) copy all her data onto her thumb drive. It appears her hard disc is going south. But at least we salvaged her data for her, sent her away knowing what she has to do to get it working
again. She appeared to be happy.

Thanks again! I suspect we'll see you again next year!

Once again, thanks for a great conference. With you, Pat and Al, and all of the great volunteer workers, you have presented a good time which was had by all. We are all safely back again in Mesa, tired and foot weary. The drive home seemed long and especially when we got out of the car in Yuma and we were greeted with a 105 temp reading. Oh My!!! Reality hit immediately. So, just a quick note of thanks. I never really had time to talk to you the whole time I was there. You were so busy. Have a great summer and I will see you again.

Pat, Judy -- Thank you very much for having us speak again at SWCC. We always enjoy your event.

We do hope our presentation met your (and your attendee) expectations. We've tried very hard to not be commercial but rather touch those areas we believe people are interested in.

We really enjoy meeting with your active folks and it helps us put a little more sanity into what we "believe" people know and are interested in and what they really want to focus on.

Again you ladies do a fantastic job. We know people don't realize how much time, effort and thought you put into the event and that it just "happens." Please know we appreciate your efforts to keep the event interesting and informative for the attendees.
